You may have heard recently of the proposed merger of Asteron’s parent company, Promina, with Suncorp. We are pleased to confirm that the merger was completed on Tuesday 20 March 2007. Asteron has become part of the Suncorp Group, which is now among the top five companies providing life insurance products in Australia and New Zealand. It now has over $600 million of Life Risk premiums inforce and over $26 billion in funds under management.
Asteron’s total commitment to its clients remains unchanged and we believe our clients will benefit from an even broader range of products and services.
