When you or your client telephones Asteron, the call will be answered by a person and not a machine. 85% of calls are answered within 20 seconds.
Asteron has state-based underwriters and risk assessment support staff. You will be assigned a dedicated, local, underwriter to make the insurance application process even more efficient.
Making things easier at claim time
We understand that when it comes to making a claim, it will often be at a very difficult time for your client and their family. That’s why we’ve got efficient and empathetic claims processes in place to make things easier. Asteron assigns a case manager as soon as a claim is submitted, so you and your client have a single point of contact – from start to finish.
But more than that, we understand the important role advisers play during the claims process. You have the client relationship and you can help make claim time even smoother.
That’s why we’ve introduced adviser and client claims kits to help you guide your client through the process.
Asteron’s First Response Unit
We have introduced a ‘First Response Unit’ which is committed to assessing and
paying income protection claims as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Asteron’s First Response Unit assesses and pays 1/3 of all income protection
claims on the day we receive the completed forms.
